"Tina Farayand Consulting Engineers" houses 1,000 underprivileged children in Omid Sub-specialty Pediatric Hospital in Tehran
Architect َAbolhassan Miremadi of Tina Farayand Consulting Engineers, was commissioned to design a Pediatric Hospital for Zanjireh Omid International Charity Institute, who is aimed to provide medical and therapeutic services to underprivileged children suffering from Cardiac, Orthopedic and Reconstructive diseases, located in Iran. The purpose of the structure is to recover and integrate an old site, next to the urban zones, public zones and old historical Tehran railway station.
Omid Hospital is located on the southern edge of the Baharlou Hospital's Javadieh compound in south Tehran. The Hospital can be accessed by 3 main roads, connecting south to north, and east to west Tehran. The Hospital's entrance is opposite the "Baharlou Hospital", approximately 500 meters north west of the Tehran railway station. The site area is appr. 25000 Sq.m
