The project Experimental House 04 by Amir Abbas Aboutalebi of AA Design Studio, titled A House for an Architect, has been honored with an Honorable Mention in the recent "A House for an Architect" workshop. This distinction is featured in the special printed issue No.07 of Villa Magazine, spotlighting the project among only 10 honored submissions out of more than 300 entries.

Published as part of a collective effort to address critical challenges within the Iranian educational system, the selected projects demonstrate innovative thinking aimed at reimagining educational spaces through architectural design. Villa Magazine’s special issue No.07, named The Unveiling of Villa No.7, reflects a rigorous selection process grounded in an expansive theoretical and practical foundation. Project Overview
A House for an Architect tackles the intersection of personal living environments and professional creative spaces, conceptualizing a residence that nurtures architectural thinking and practice. Throughout the design, cultural, educational, and environmental sensitivities merge to form a human-centered and context-aware home, tailored to the unique demands of architect inhabitants. Jury and Evaluation Criteria
The jury’s evaluation followed a well-articulated framework outlined in Theoretical Background of "a House for an Architect" Workshop, setting clear criteria for assessment. These criteria aimed to prioritize:

Innovative architectural responses to educational needs and spatial challenges
Integration of intellectual and cultural dimensions within living and working environments
Sustainability and adaptability of the architectural solutions
Conceptual clarity and feasibility of implementation
Sensitivity to Iranian socio-cultural and environmental contexts
