The special issue on participants’ developed project in “A House for an Architect” workshop in Yazd is published in a time when young architects and design creatives probe higher position to undertake their professional role in the field of architecture, Interior design and urbanism more than ever.

The developments of the information age and digital world have provided great opportunities for these talents’ powerful presence in architecture and construction and soon a significant proportion of the job market will be allocated to them.

By recognizing the issues of the day and observing society’s longing to achieve higher spatial and executive qualities in life and work environment, young generation of Iranian architects will soon drive their traditional competitors out of the field.

Dealers will soon be written off from the architectural service industry and young talented and capable architects will receive equal opportunity to compete with grand firms by employing digital technologies.

Considering various social issues of urban life such as pollution and traffic, comprehensive knowledge of economics, energy, culture, health and employer’s interest and approaching toward them will be well-received among clients. Of course in the current setting, rural and semi urban lands scaled for villas and single family residents are prone to provide more opportunities for new generation of Iranian architects.
